Anyways, I recently graduated from Western University’s Media Information and Technoculture (MIT for short, no not the one in Massachusetts), the one in London, Ontario up in Canada. Here is where I picked up a piece of paper that says I now have an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree and another piece of paper (literally!) that said I have a Certificate in Writing.
In terms of my job experience, I’ve been a pretty loyal employee of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) for the past 5 summers (yes, five!) when I was not attending university. I worked in a small creative web design and development group within a larger group that was within another larger one and then was part of a division, and so on. BUT I was able to work in an enjoyable and yet very detail-oriented and fast-paced environment. I worked with Information Architects, Graphic Designers, Front and Back End Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts in this group and was able to have a hand in each of their roles such as designing wireframes for mockups to updating and creating content for internal RBC client pages to designing banners.
Other things that you should know that I am very interested in are soccer, advertising, design, fashion, anything start-up and entrepreneurial…oh and of course, social media and Mac Miller & Frank Ocean for music.
I secretly wish to open my own coffee shop one day when I have a lot of money (haha!) and own a flat with an amazing balcony. That is the dream.
